Large game in SHTF

I've run into the same situation. I know you can download full books to a kindle and they have solar powered chargers for them. Might be a good option with limited space and weight. However you still have the possibility of breaking it and being screwed.

Not to take this thread too far off topic, but...

I have a decent survival library on the computer with stuff like military manuals, survival guides, and textbooks. I also downloaded the Wikipedia archive. I have the data on my internal hard drive and backed up on two separate external hard drives. I think that with a deep cycle batter, a solar panel, and a power inverter I should be able to access the data indefinitely in a SHTF scenario. I am also starting a SHTF hard-copy library. I'll probably start a thread about it sometime soon so I can get suggestions on what to add.

Unless there is an EMP...then you're screwed. Print it out. Make condensed versions and laminate.

I do plan on printing some, and I would like to find an inexpensive laminating solution -- ink jet printing and water don't mix at all. I am also looking into what it would take to make a viable faraday cage.
