for some .....weapons have more than one use. I took a tactical shotgun class and having the ability to pick different rounds was easy with a side saddle. No operator ninja here just what i personally experienced.

The side saddle on my old mossberg added a lot of weight to the gun, reducing recoil a great deal. It made shooting it much more pleasant.
