Alright, I'm gonna show my stupidity here. I sure wish one of you Glock geniuses would pm/post (whatever) a list of all the glock models..for example.. Glock 22, 40 cal, full size and if any letters come after it, what does it mean. I don't own a glock and want one but the more I look on here and see 17, 19, 21, 22, 27..you get the picture---and the more I wonder what they are. Most folks on hear are much smarter that I am and they only post: WTT Glock 17--I don't know what a Glock 17 is without searching..would someone please take the time here to help a brother out??

Thank you,
Completely Frustrated (aka Troy)

Would a compensated 22 have alot of muzzle blast from the ports and be much louder--say, like a muzzlebreak on a rifle?
Where are some of you guys getting "cosmetic customized" work done on the Glock--
And, what/where would you need to get different caliber barrels on one gun..lets say, can you get a 9mm barrel for a 22 or vise versa?

The compenstated guns are much louder, will blind you if you shoot at night, and will catch your clothes on fire if you shoot from retention. Well, maybe not all that, but there are some drawbacks, and the above mentioned are possible, fire not likely.

To go different calibers start with a 357 sig or 40 glock, and buy conversion barrels. They run about 100 bucks and you can run 357 sig 40 and 9mm all in the same gun. The 357 sig and 40's are the same guns, with different barrels. Upgrading a 9 to 40 or 357 sig is not advised. Many people say to switch your extractor to shoot 9, but I know many who have not, and they tell me the only prob is brass in the face

I'd argue to just pick a 9mm and stick with it. How many people realistically switch between 3 different calibers? Have you seen the price on .357 Sig? Unless someone was paying for your ammo it's pretty pointless.

Stick to one caliber, buy a lot of ammo and learn how to use it.
