Come on guy that line is from a joke, not a fact. Bryant scheduled a game with USC (the one in California not SC) in Birmingham which Alabama lost by the way. USC had a great black running back and at the time Alabama's team was all white. That game gave Bryant what he needed to break the color barrier and add black players to the team.

Baaaahaaaaahaaaaa.............longer than four years. I was in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans when Teague took away the pass in 93 to upset Miami. I had just graduated in December from UA. I was on the practice field with the Bear in the 80's, now, if you can show me a degree from UGA, then I will digress. Otherwise, I will lump you into the ever growing category of get a life UGA sidewalk alumni that perpetuates Georgia. Still not sure why you're sniffing on Richt's jock....seeing as how nobody has tried to compare him to any of the greatest coaches ever. Try and stay focused on the conversation at hand kiddo. Then again, if I were a Bama fan, I'd be pretty pissed that my team has a losing record against a coach that supposedly sucks. Bwahahahahahahahaha

Haha, I think that is a degree from AU. You can take a pick, I have three for you to chose from. I actually got my specialist degree from UGA and my MBA from Emory. The UGA was a very unfortunate situation, but sometimes you just do what you got to do to feed the family and in that instance the night classes in my backyard won out over my disdain for UGA. As far Richt, I just can't stand all the St. Richt crap. He was the main reason why Florida State was on probation and brought the same thug recruiting plan with him. Funny how the dope test always come to his attention the week after big games when everybody on the UGA insider boards know a week earlier.

My biggest memory of bear was watching his coaches show Sunday afternoons just to see if he celebrated last nights win a little to much. Sitting there with his Coke and Golden Flake chips. Those sure were different times in college football. Now the media would scandalize him and lots of others from his time.

As far as dope tests, you're pretty much wrong about that. UGA has a pretty strict policy on any stupid activity that athletes may do. Hell, our starting kicker was out the first game of this season and so was a DB. And that's not the first time Richt has come down on players. Do the names Mettenberger or Crowell ring a bell? There are other examples as well.

Florida State was on probation due to having ineligible players during the 2006/2007 season. Richt was long gone by then....so once again, you're wrong.

Now show me where it was proven that a UGA player did something wrong and Richt allowed them to play anyways. Don't worry, I'll wait.......
