Market on H&K P7?

I had one for awhile, and sold it for a little south of two grand and thought I did really well. I've seen a few pop up lately and folks asking 3500 for them. Did the market go up that much? Or is it the ODT premium?

Depending on the grading and model, they can go to 5k. This has been the price for years. They have just started to come down a little.

The "grading?" Who "grades" them?

I know there is a hard chromed double stack that was pretty pricey.

I know. I sold a bunch of Mosin's for $80 about 10 years ago, too. Hindsight being 20/20 and all...

This is the market. Nice older HK's are better than money in the bank. P7s have never been plentiful, and there has always been a strong demand. Thus the increase in price. Not many owners are willing to let go of them.

Back in the day I think sovietak474u posted a thread about them...I got interested but at the time the going rate was north of a grand. Just couldn't see that for a 9mm bullet launcher.
