It's a proprietary handguard and barrel nut as to make the quick takedown function possible.

Does it use a standard receiver extension?

If putting this out commercially, I would be a killer to a lot of folks to be locked into that handguard. And a lot of folks don't want to separate the barrel from the extension. That's just one more point of potential consistency failure.

The most current version will be using a standard M Lok handguard and modified barrel extension only. So it will be widely compatible with whatever you'd like to use.

I also moved the bearing system and bolt handle above the ejection port instead.
