Mega Arms 308 AR barrel and BCG questions

You definitely want an adjustable Gas Block, as the 308 AR’s can be over gassed easily, especially with the mid length gas system.

I stayed with a basic Odin Works Low Profile 0.750 Gas Block ($29), thinking I would swap to an adjustable only if needed. Used a WMD Nitromet Mid-Length Gas Tube ($18.69). With my BA barrel and BCG, with the right carbine buffer (heavier @3.8 ounces and short @2.5 inches), mine runs flawlessly.

I’ll be using an AR15 buffer tube, so I got this 5oz .308 carbine buffer

I don’t have a 30cal suppressor, but I think I’ll still go with an adjustable gas block so I’ll have the option to tune it if need be.
