Good post, I was fortunate to have a father who had man to man talks with me. So many young men from all races and levels of society lack a stable father figure in the household, results show with the younger and younger ages of violent criminals today.
Excellent suggestion. This is a great movie, and it doesn't get enough attention or credit.If you ever get the chance, buy or rent the DVD called "Secondhand Lions." A story about the progression and relationship of two brothers over decades and the relationship they develop with their young boy relative. Lots of discussion about what boys need to be to grow into and be men. A thoroughly wild and entertaining feel-good story with a few twists. Robert Duvall, MIchael Caine and Hailey Joel Osmont......

Great post and accurate point. Unfortunately real men are a dying breed, men have become ungodly, devote much of their time to their wants and desires instead of their families and god and have become soft and passive.
Sissy boys don’t put up much of a fight, testosterone is low due to nuts being squashed in skinny jeans and they hate to get dirty.
We DO NEED each other.
And it seems the ODT community DOES come to the Aid of its members.
