my first suppressed kill

Spooked the buck with the big rack and got the spike who went the wrong direction. Not even 5 minutes in the stand this morning.

240gr 44magnum soft point. Lung shot in front of the shoulder blade, exited the other side. Dropped em where it hit em. I'm thinking 44 subs should be fine considering how this one penetrated.

Setup is a Ruger 77/44 with Octane45 suppressor. mueller quickshot scope.
