Yes Sir. It's like once you get these things you can't move or do anything without asking permission and waiting on approval. I'm tired of it. My FFL is closed until Wednesday.. I'll see what he says when he gets back in the shop.

This is why you have a trust. And i just have to comment on OP stating "turn them BACK in to the government". Did you get them from the government to begin with? I think i would rather destroy them myself before i give them to the government.

You can sell them privately, you just have to effect the transfer via an FFL, who might charge the purchaser a storage fee while the Form4 is processing.

Consignment might work too.

If you sell outright to a dealer, you're likely to recoup the least money.

The main thing is that you want them out of your immediate possession (unrelated to ownership) in a location that is legal and secure.

The SBRs you can just remove them off registry and convert back to a regular rifle. They will just be engraved but the cans will have to be transferred and sold to an FFL / SOT I believe is the easiest
