went to pick up meds today,my painkillers were not in the bag. Pharmacist said gubment has not sent controlled substance drugs in a timely matter and dont know when they will have them

Now that just makes no sense. I seen a Biden commercial where folks were saying he’s helped with their medication so much 
Why would the gubment be in possession of the meds and not the pharmaceutical company? I get that they make the laws/rules. But they shouldn't be in physical possession of any meds.
It sucks that big pharma spent the 90s turning everyone out on pain meds and then cut everyone off. Seriously the company that makes Oxy used to send it's reps to hand out samples AND offer bonuses for doctors/clinics that wrote the most scrips and refills
BTW...if they try to offer you Ultram or Tramadol tell them to not waste your time. They don't work any better than Ibuprofen.
Sounds like it's the USPS, they aren't sending anything in a timely manner at the moment.
They were probably stolen at the USPS facility and are now in the hands of a good street pharmacist. Unfortunately, the USPS processing facilities have criminal groups operating within to take drugs and checks.
