Our club has timber land on either side of the lines and about 1,300 yards of power line. I am usually across the road on our other tract, but that stand has been good to me this year and last.

I didn't see anything geese coming in while taki g a break. This is in front of the house. Roughing it....

Went out Friday and Saturday in Newton Co. Only heard one gunshot. I saw 3 does and a spike, but I heard a buck grunting behind me, but something blew when I grunted back at him.

I think they're getting more wary.

They are pretty skittish already. I imagine there will be a lull in the action for a few weeks until the second rut kicks in.

Yeah I have the app, but I mostly use it on my laptop to check the wind direction forecasts.
