Off air TV antennas outdoor or indoor?

Anyone got any suggestions on which antenna is best?

We use an indoor antenna 30 bucks from Best Buy works great when cable goes down or NBC fights with ATT The picture is as good as cable for local broadcast.

The last antenna I picked up didn't work. I'm going to try another one just to have a back up. Tagged for recommendations.

We use an over the air antenna, placed in the attic. Works great. And now Roku has added about 200 channels. We are Netflix and prime subscribers as well. Never a problem finding suitable entertainment. But we’re no sports fans…
