Both of these are sweet. I dig the looks of the black Luminox. But from what I saw on their site they're all quartz watches and I'm kinda done with quartz watches.

I thought that once too. But I love so many watches that the ONLY "Done with" I can stick to is done with hand winding non-automatics. Although I saw a Hamilton pocket watch the other day and had to walk away, even though I'm not into pocket watches at all. Citizen Eco Drive quartz watches will always be one of my Go To watches. They are a preppers dream and if you get the perpetual calendar, Atomic ones they NEVER need ...well ANYTHING theoretically. As long as there is light and the atomic clocks are still broadcasting you will never need to wind, charge, or set them.

Purchased a Lumtec B33 combat recently and shortly afterwards had someone make a leather strap from an old baseball glove for it.

Right now I really like this DAMASKO DA36. Its a really well made German watch. What German watches are not ?!?

I'm toying with the idea of getting a smart watch. Anyone have any experience with them? Good brands, bad brands or models to avoid?

When this thread was first started, I really didn't have any watches. I have 3 now and ordered 2 more plus looking for a good Sunday go to church watch.

I also ordered this tool kit. I like tinkering and I thought this was cool.
