Big enough to be one for sure. Dad bought it in 1965 for family trips. Had the 383 and ran pretty good. My dad was always a Mopar guy. He had several other Chrysler and Plymouth land yachts after this one. That a hearse???
Appears to be a '67 or '68.

The old blue Fury I in the OP doesn't look all that big.
I wouldn't call it a land yacht.
That Fury III station wagon, however, reminds me of the Griswold family wagon.
Yes but that 4 door you can pickup a lot of fat girls.
I think this was the Griswold family wagon - 1973 Mercury Marquis Colony Park Station Wagon:
Had one of these too - best riding car I ever had. Look at that hood. had a 460 C.I. engine!
I know what you mean. The Mopar pull was strong in my family growing up. I had a '70 Cuda 383 just like this one back in the day.My favorite year is the 1963 sport fury. I love those cars. You can see the obvious short wheel base for drag racing. My first car was a 1967 Belvedere ll. 1980 dodge prism pearl white with honey comb wheels on it. It was a slick looking car. I love the old Mopars. I had four old Mopars I would give my I teeth to have now.
