looks like 83-84...I have never seen a tyler T grip with a smith logo on it. either a special run for tyler, smith or a distributer like lew horton. very nice example.

Looks like either a Pachmayr or a Mershon, the forerunner of the Pachy...
The grip adapter is metal. However the serial number on the grip and the one inside the cylinder don't match up. Any thoughts on this? And I have an old bill of sale from 1969 where it was purchased. Is it possible someone just changed out the grip? I have 2 of these and they're both like that with the different serials
