How old were you when you first fired a gun?

stevens 410 and a nylon 66 at 8.
my pops gave me that 410 last year.

the nylon 66 was my older brothers although when I turned 10 (like all my siblings ) got my own engraved one.

That’s seems so odd to me but then again it makes perfect sense. It’s great when people who don’t grow up around firearms get into it.

Shot 2. A 12 gauge behind the house. Don’t know brand. Ol man was behind me. Remember the bang today. Second was a .22 Winchester. I still got it. 30 years later. The good ole days

Got my 1st .22 about 43 years ago…no tell how many bullets ran though that gun.

5 Christmas day. Got a single shot 22 from Economy Auto Store. Who remembers them? I still have it and the stock is partly burned from where our house burned down when I was 14. My Dad lost his entire collection in the fire.

Cant remember the 1st firearm l shot. Guessing my moms RG 22 revolver when I was 7 or 8..

Grandfather's 1925 Abercrombie & Fitch 10GA double barrel with 32" barrels. 8 years old and my same aged cousin held the barrels up for me. It launched me backwards about 6 feet.

No idea, but I would guess around 8-10 years old I was shooting a .22.

I don’t remember.

I planned on starting my daughter at 8YOA. She got in trouble at school, and as part of her punishment I made her wait until she was 9.

At 10YOA she shot out to 800 yards with a bolt action 5.56. I called all her wind and dope, but she operated the scope herself.

At 12YOA she was ringing steel at 500yds with an iron-sighted M1 Garand.

She was on her high school rifle team.

Probably very young, don't even remember the first time, me and dad was going shooting for as long as I can remember.
