This guy ran from a 100 yards away deep in a forest to my second bout of light rattling at around 8.50am. I've never seen a deer move that fast towards a call. 185lbs 8 points, he was a bitch to load. I'm happy.

That's my kind of schedule!

Yep, cameras have been full of doe and small bucks in the early and late hours, but mid day has some nice bucks chasing.
If it were doe day we would have been in the stand before light and according to the last week's pics, would have bagged one. If you want a big buck, you gotta hunt a big buck.
