Openly Carrying A Rifle in GA

Everything I've ever read about Georgia gun law says that open carrying a firearm isn't legal without a Georgia Weapons License. I'll look a bit further into it, but I've never heard otherwise.

As others have said, yes it's legal. Having said that, a ruck march on public roads with an AR? I wouldn't do it. Carry extra weight if you are doing it for conditioning. You are almost 100% guaranteed to get your march interrupted....

this is best suggestion. Sux in GA as most forests you cannot open carry long gun because it is considered poaching
