You can not legally open carry a pistol in Georgia without a permit.

BUT Leo can not ask you if you have a permit unless you are in commission of a crime or a self defense scenario. That I do know. I open carry sometimes and I have NEVER been asked about my legal status. And I draw A LOT of attention due to my rather different appearance.

Perfectly legal in GA without a weapons license.

It’s legal as long as you have ability to obtain a CWP, simply put you can’t be a convicted felon

This how I trained back in the day , get you a steel pipe 39” Long tie a sling to it. Make sure it’s at least 10 lbs. , it will make that M16 feel like a baton. Good Luck and gods speed in your new career.ODA out
