I think it all depends on where you grew up and what your definition of normal is to a point. I was born and raised and will probably die within 10 miles of where I currently sit typing. My sister left a full ride at Georgia Southwestern to pursue the world of Auburn and then the military and now lives in Atlanta. The things I dislike about Atlanta are the things that attract her and her husband. I prefer to be able to go to any restaurant in town and see folks I know. I like knowing that if I were broken down someone will stop that I know and give me a ride. My Daddy always said "if they made atlanta in parts they left my part out". Dad and I dont agree on much but I can see his point. I admit my favorite few of Atlanta is in my rear view mirror when I am pointed South. Its a cool place just to busy for me.

Worked in downtown Atlanta for 42.5 years. At first could walk downtown at night, no problem. For the last 15 carried shotgun in car. Now will not go there.
