I don't think it gets that dirty since the bullet never actually flys through it, just the gasses.

The core which is sold separately as a muzzle break sits over the barrel with just the last inch or so extending past the end of the barrel. You can get the core made of titanium and since it doesn't add to the length the weight is less of a factor.

He seems to be a good guy and has a great YouTube channel. Looking forward to seeing his review, as this is a pretty interesting design.

Rifle Caliber can. May as well be sealed, since you don't really need to clean it.
