Not sure about the temp part. But you don’t build a truck like that expecting ANY type of mile per gallon. Only thing that matters is Smiles Per Gallon!

Forget MPG it‘s TPM (Tires Per Mile) that’ll be expensive but it’s gonna be a lot of fun.

Years ago I'd agree. I have two big block trucks and a 434 car. So I know. I've just had them a long time. The sbc does get better fuel mileage than a big block. In these Bidenomic times though......something to think about....
