I am going to guess that the current BATFE ruling is going to get shot down. The fact that they said for multiple years that they were fully legal, and then changed their mind is going to get it shot down. Not to mention the fact that SCOTUS has been pretty clear that congress makes laws, not other government entities (west VA vs EPA). Especially ones that could make you a felon by decree. And I can't see congress passing a law to outlaw braces when they can't even agree on what constitutes a receiver.
I'll hang on to mine, as I think they will loose this one, and I think it will be suspended, and it might take a year or two for it to work it's way up the court system.
But maybe I can score at least one free SBR stamp out of the deal and hassle.

Pistol braces are still worth $125 - $250 depending on model/maker and if you pay in Confederate currency.
Why even bother with one anymore? If they're gonna consider it an sbr, then may as well put a stock on it. Charge is the same either way.
