How could you not know there was a firearm in your house?
It's not like it takes special equipment to detect firearms.

Then again I've seem some pictures of the inside of some people's houses and you could loose a bull moose in them.

I did find a brand new unfired Glock in a holster with 100 rds of ammo, in a house that was vacated.
There was a pathway throughout the house, but not much open area.
It's like they just left in the night.
So yes. Some folks could not know there was a firearm in their house.

eh so be it all he is saying is they would search "volunteers" houses. Now no way in hell would i let them search my house but if your just as paranoid and would like to give up your rights to be sure none are around then so be it.

one of my aunts found one in her house that she had no idea about from some ex years and years ago, you'd be suprised how often stuff like that happens
