POST THE CHEAPEST GUN YOU OWN

I have a $50 22lr rifle. Dad had a $6 Dillinger 22lr SXS that we couldn't hit a clay pigeon at 1 yard. Brother and myself shot a whole box of ammo and no two rounds hit close to each other. We decided the only way to hit something was to muzzle stamp it and hope the gun went off. Brother got it when Dad passed.

Taurus Brasil 38 Special, a.k.a. Chief Special. Five-shot snub nose revolver. I paid $173 from Franklin's Sporting Goods in 1989 as it was secondhand. Attached is a similar photo from Armslist.com.

Cheapest is a hoarder house find. Glenfield mod. 25 only money that went into it was having it cut to 16.5 in and threaded.

Maybe I should take a pic and post it. Lord I’m lazy.

I've already posted pics of my $25 antique store find. Since it only cost me $25 and the stock was in such poor shape to begin with I thought it couldn't hurt anything to try perfecting the process of bringing a high luster finish to the stock. Needless to say I had to do it over and over again because I found myself with a lot of imperfections in the stock. Then I slowed down and I finally got it right, a perfect finish. It's not really difficult it's just that you have to be really patient and just accept it's going to take a week or two to obtain what you're looking for. I finally got it down I'm posting the new pics of the stock the way I want it. That 700 BDL luster in the stock. And a perfect one at that. So my $25 Marlin model 6087 commemorative rifle turned out pretty darn good. It's not like it's worth the whole hell of a lot and I can always retain the original look if I need to in the future for value although I don't see that happening. Anyways here's the pics not too bad for 25 bucks.

The first firearm I owned was a Revelation [Western Auto] 410 top break single shot shotgun given to me by Santa Claus when I was 10 years old. A few years later, having watched Wanted: Dead or Alive and The Rebel, I proceeded to saw the barrel off to 18.5 inches and be cool. Of course, it did not help me when squirrel or rabbit hunting. I was not savvy enough at that stage of my life to realize I could order a longer standard barrel to continue hunting. I later traded it at my local gunshop for a bowl of porridge and soon saw it on the rack for sale with a new standard length barrel. Such is life. Thanks.
