I have a friend that swears by the following. I have never done it so I can't speak to it's success or not.
Early afternoon make a semi circle around your stand at a distance you feel comfortable shooting. Put about 3 piles of dog food equally spaced around you keeping wind in mind. Pour bacon grease on the piles of dog food, or mix it before you get there. Next to the piles of food, drive a survey stake or something sim into the ground. Attach one of those cheap flashlights like you get at the dollar store or time saver check out to the top of the stake with a zip tie so that it's shining on the food. As the sun goes down the light from the flashlights shines on the dog food and the coyotes will come to the smell of the dog food and bacon grease and you will have just enough light from the cheap little flashlights to shoot.
