It would blow your mind the complexity of new vehicles the older vehicle usually only have 1 maybe two communication protocols.
New vehicles....
High and low speed lan comm lines, lin networks, bluetooth, class 2 comm, most networks, rf receivers, cellular receivers i feel like a techie most days rather than a mechanical repair tech. Most time is spent in electrical which is cool with me, its easy most days.
These lightening struck vehicles are perturbing though.
