I've only changed the air filter in my '01 Maxima once. Might be time to check it...
check these in every car that i work on, its easy money for me and not only a comfort issue for the customer but it's a health thing too those filters trap a lot of stuff.
On the flip side this should be checked often because vermin like to make a nest out of/in them

yeah even after cleaning it out pretty good it may be better to just leave it out till get a new one in a little while
Maybe that's where my ex wife is hiding.
Dodge RAM pickup trucks stopped using cabin filters in 2010 I believe. I for the life of me cannot figure out why they did that. I get a good amount of dust in my cab as a result.
I wonder if my '01 Wrangler has a cabin filter? If it does I'm surprised I'm not dead with as many swamps and bogs and dirt roads that I have run that thing through/gotten stuck in over the past 7 years.
Only the hardtop automatic trans models have them.
A hard top, automatic Jeep? I don't have a vagina.
