I have a Colt MK IV Government .380 that I would like to have reblued. I'm looking for a professional job and want the thing to look like it just came from the Colt factory. I'm in Acworth and willing to travel most of Metro Atlanta to get it to the right person to do the job. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks

From what I understand the older colt bluing is very difficult to match and even the colt factory uses different processes than they did years ago. If you want an older Colt to match it's original luster you will have to use a reputable firearms restoration company. This Guy is supposed to be the best and any wait will be worth it.

Thank you BHJ. That place does some incredible work! I'm hoping to stay local but I'm gonna at least give them a call and see what the have to say.

I took a springfield rifle to Deer Creek (Near the square in Marietta.) They did a parkerization job for me-it came out excellent!

-I bet they also do a great job with blueing work as well. They are an old school shop with people who actually know what they are doing..
