Looking for recommendations on a .45acp pistol host and suppressor combo for me to look into further, and not a 1911. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience

FNX is the best thing going. In all seriousness though, the 1911 suppresses really well so unless capacity is a chief concern I would go that route.

As for can, I've got and octane 45 and it does everything I've asked it to do. The rugged cans aren't bad either. If you want or need a rifle rated 45 can look no further than a TBAC fly 45

Apologies for the typically ODT blurriness but I have only one 45 host/can.

Glock 21 with an Omega 45K. Whisper stupid quiet and to my damaged ears? Sounds like a low "thump" when I pull the trigger.

Pic failed.

Griffin Revolution 45. Good can that does a lot of things well enough, plus it can be used on rifle calibers hunting or for HD. It lives on a Glock, scorpion, or 300bo SBR when not at the range.

1911s really are the best host. The hammer holds the slide closed just a bit longer than someThjng striker fired so more gas goes out the front.

If you’re near me you’re welcome to shoot the can on a 1911 or a 9mm.
