What adapter plate did you go with?

You can mix up dots and irons. The only thing I won't do is run optics on my carry gun if I also run optics elsewhere (for comp) and the platforms are not identical.

I've never shot 3 gun, so the class rules don't matter to me, but a shotgun with a dot is a blast to shoot! And yes, I turkey hunted with my M4 this past season lol.

Irons are faster. If you take the time hit the dot will help with precision, especially further out.

DOT's make accuracy easier/faster.

Now for the kicker...
Practice failure drills with your dot turned off.

Train with both for success.
Train for failure when your battery dies or you use your gun as an impact device.
