They are well on their way. I don't think Ruger actually builds anything in Connecticut any longer. They're not "out" yet, but I expect it in the next few years.

A drive through many of the Connecticut river valley cities that were the center of US toolmaking and mechanical engineering show run down, bankrupt (in so many ways) areas that need a good carpet-bombing as the cheapest way to get any urban improvement.
