Renewing carry permit

I thought there was a way to do this online, but everything I'm seeing says I need to go in.

Am I just thinking about drivers licenses?

You have to personally appear for GWL...no online

You must go to your local Probate Court(clerk). Technically, it's not a renewal, you submit for a new GWCL. And comb your hair, they now have a photo.

Yep..gotta be in person, and now you don't have to submit for fingerprints again thanks to Georgia Carry!

There is an online form in Floyd county. Not sure if it works for renewal, but I would bet it just puts the form in the system. You still need to go in, it just makes it easier on the data entry while you sit there......

OH, and renewal was $30 instead of $70ish . I was quote up to ten weeks, so it would be prudent to renew 3 months early like is allowed.

I would call and check. If you live somewhere jacked up like Peach County, their WEBSITE says 3 months early but when I went up there, the old bitty told me to come back anytime during the month of renewal. I just gnashed my teeth and came back during the month it was due--they can make it a lot harder on me than I can on them--But it sure got under my skin.
