SBR Part Advice

I have an NFA trust so I believe it would still have to be engraved. Am I wrong?

If you buy a factory MK18 there is no engraving required as you are not the manufacturer. If you build out the lower you have and want to SBR it, you are then the manufacturer and have to engrave it. It costs more, but I also like having matching uppers and lowers (personal choice).

I guess its too late for me now that I have already bought and registered my Aero lower. I talked to a lot of guys before purchasing a lower and they recommended Aero because of the quality and price, along with the fact that I'm suck with that lower after registering it.

What do you mean by "registering" it? You've already sent in your $200 to the ATF? It's also not "too late". Having 2 SBR lowers isn't exactly a bad thing.

By "registering" it I meant that I have paid for the tax stamp. I would be fine having two SBR lowers, but I'm not made of money. I guess its too late to purchase a MK18 and use the tax stamp that I have already paid for? Is that even possible?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you can't cancel a submission, or at least not that I know of. A lower is a lower, so I wouldn't sweat it. I was just suggesting having a full MK18 if that's what you want anyway, but that's probably too late. However, with the changes coming for trusts soon having more than one lower isn't a bad idea if you can handle it financially.

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to get as much filed as I can before July gets here. I am waiting for my MPX and my Aero lower's tax stamps to get back. I am debating on getting a suppressor or two.
