Sharing the road with bicyclists

Typical

I always grant cyclists their 36" space. To be safe, I have my passenger measure with a yardstick as we pass. Most are appreciative with a single digit thank you wave.
A 36" metal 'curb scratcher' whip device that sticks straight out from the passenger side mirror would be a great safety device for motorist and cyclist.

Once in a rare while, I'll ride my bike 10 miles to the office and back. It's very hard because of the steep hills, my age, and trying to stay clear of the drivers to the extent I can. But I have this thought. How slothful and self-important must someone be to think that avoiding his or her one- or two-minute inconvenience trumps life and death for a fellow traveller on the roadway, who objectively is working 1,000 times harder than the driver?

Looks like John Moses has continued his theme of arguing like a woman by giving me the silent treatment. It seems I have hit his ignore list :peace:

That or he's gone. Either way. It was a fun time.
