If you have two guys wanting to trade firearms but in order to do the trade you both have to ship how do you insure noone gets screwed in the process? How can I trust that if I ship my gun they will ship theirs? Trust issues.

i always do some kind of conformation number , that way they can send me the number and i can check to see if it has been sent.
is it an in state transfer? I would think between shipping and FFL fee it would borderline be cheaper to meet halfway and then not wait on shipping as well. Even if it was 20-30 bucks more in gas, I would probably drive it to have it not go through a ton of hands
Only issue with a conformation number is you cant "confirm" whats in the package...could be a gun...could be a cement block...
That's why phone number and name play a big part in it too! I usually buy one or sale one. If i sell or buy one i go MO or Moneygram and you have to show i.d to get money. Trading firearms and hoping the other guy does the right thing is a guessing game , hope they got good feedback.
