The 1-4 style looks good, and with the 16" bbl you probably don't want something really big on it. I just threw an old Bushnell on mine.

As for mounts, I found some for my build that I'm going to start using on all my AKs. They're from a company called 'Royally Screwed' (sometimes shown as 'RS'), and they have some of the best looking, quality AK quick-release mounts I'd ever seen.

X2 Just outfit my Saiga 12 and 7.62x39 with them. Feel really good. Midway and DSG have them in stock as well - or at least they did when I looked.

Yeah it was only $40 at the gun show and there is no play with it at all. Pretty pleased with it as I had very low expectations.
