Federal HST 147gr 9mm in all our 9mm defense guns. Why? It performed very well in Lucky gunner's ballistic test, and it's subsonic for suppressed home defense.

I’m OK with mostly any reliable hollow point as I don’t believe there to be any meaningful or practical difference between them, particularly in small handgun calibers. But I typically keep Speer gold dots in 9mm/.45acp for self-defense.
