Of course you did.... I shot a 180 in buck I quartered it up and left the antlers, a squirrel at them the next day when I went back for them. But I did it.

AGREED. Much more difficult to bag an older wiley one...
I say I don't hunt for what others think of me. I hunt for myself. If I kill a deer with a nice rack ill post it and if some thinks its little or some think I'm just trying to brag then so be it. Hunt for yourself and what makes you happy. If filling the freezer is your main goal then shoot em all! If your horn hunting then make sure to realize that the smaller junk rack bucks your letting walk is also the same ones that's getting a free pass to breeding season. A better hunter either way has its down falls shoot to many end up with none be to selective and end up with basket 6pts and spikes the size of a mountain goat. IMHO
