Anyone else planting any spring food plots? I planted two areas today, supposed to rain Sunday.

Spring Food plots

I tried to lime a few food plots broke the spreader! Keep us posted.
I got some iron and clay peas planted about a week and a half ago, and they are sprouting. Also put out 40 crabapple trees, 10 persimmons, and 10 figs.
I'm just putting little mini plots all over my property.

yeah me too. I have them protected now with wire cages, and I'm debating who will get them - me or the deer...
My money is on the "DEER"...
My winter plots were crap until March. I had a mix of annual and perennial clovers, wheat, and some brassicas. The clover is growing good finally, the wheat is still pretty much crap, and all the brassicas got ate. It was so dry when I planted in September that they got off to a rough start, so I guess I planted my spring plots 6 months ago.
I to have clover thats doing great right now. Planted it a year ago.
Oats did well over the winter as did wheat.
