Start paying attention to what you see coming home and leaving. They will very likely be back!!!!! At the very least buy some yard signs that say you have an alarm.

We are investing in a security system and cameras. Records online so the feed can't be taken.

I went back and looked at the news link, I see that ya'll live in Winterville. That is still too close to Whit Davis / Cedar Creek.

Just remember these types of things can happen anywhere. A police officer lives two houses down from us and another lives about 6 houses away.

a good idea is to store serial numbers ONLY in a word document in Google Drive, perhaps with a codename for each next to it.

in case of disaster, it can be accessed from anywhere, you might be. Storing the information locally is a good idea, but Tornadoes and floods are very indiscriminate about those things.

Take a list of your stolen items to Thorntons pawn shop, they are good folks and will help you if they can.

When we were broken into, the police told us that they will wait about 4 months and try again. As this is about the average time it takes to get insurance refunds and to replace all the stolen items. Just a heads up
