Kind of like a miniature circus tent that has had it's walls and roof smeared with rancid animal fat for waterproofing.

Ok. Cool….never remember hearing/seeing the term.
(of course, with the events of my brain the last few weeks/months….I don’t remember a lot of crap ! Lol)

What is a “yurt” ?

a more permanent tent. Was actually a fairly nice place. Im hoping to buy some land in the near future and will probably build one of these to have some basic housing for the first couple of years.

Ok…those seem kinda cool ! Very livable, provided you don’t have a tornado whip through or close enough to do damage.
Then again, weather can destroy anything and everything !
Would be very cool to have while building a house, etc.,
