No boresighter used. Just remove the bolt or BCG. I have a laser boresighter that sticks into the end of the rifle and it is useless, for me at least. It is not consistent enough as no telling where the laser ends up.

For me, it's a lot. 4 rounds at the range, a trip to the eye doctor (high deductible), then back to the range.
