thinking about buying an ak47
i would have $400 to spend on it before taxes

what type to buy i see quite a few countries import them at the store
any glitches/complications i should know about?
what country is good for that price and reliable as hell?
waht caliber do they come in?

yes i have never owned an ak or ar in my life so i might ask questions many consider stupid

For 400 bucks you're pretty much limited to Romanian WASR-10s and you're going to have to hunt for one at that price.

$600 to $900, but thats just an opinion. Nothing wrong with a WASR unless something is wrong with it. Which is usually the case

You can find WASR's that will run just fine for $500 on here. But $600-750 is a good bet for a decent AK.

My wasr is great... Love it accurate as hell and goes bang every time no mag wabble... All around great gun.... Theres a guy on craigslist that lists a wasr.for 400 bucks but I see it posted every once and a while...

I would have sworn you had a AK at the M&G over your shoulder.BUY a WASR and see if thats the way you want to go,forget high dollar til you decide,besides you can always sell it on ODT for $650 used,LNIB
