This came slithering up to my wife in her flower area this past Saturday.

It's a baby Indigo snake less than two feet. We looked her over and turned her loose in the wood pile.

Cool! I know of 2 people who relocated Indigo snakes and posted on FB, both were contacted by DNR. They didn't get in trouble, they just wanted to make sure the snakes were safe. Just a heads-up incase you posted there too, I'm sure you know they're a protected species but not everyone else knows that. Awesome pics! I've never been lucky enough to see one in person

I’ve seen variance in racer belly color (not necessarily like what you have pictured). Never had the privilege of seeing an Indigo in person. You wouldn’t happen to have more pics to share?
