I will never support a bill that further infringes upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms. That is exactly what education requirements do and anyone who equates the right to bear arms to driving is either obtuse or plain ignorant.

The GWL is tantamount to a poll tax and an education requirement would be the same as Jim Crowe. Do you really want someone deciding whether you have earned a right granted in The Constitution?

Yep if tons of Dumb Ass' are walking around with Glocks in the small of their back (sans holster, yo dat gangsta) dropping them in a Lowes and shooting old ladies....I also think you should earn the right to vote. If this was a requirement rather than a grated gift by amendments to the constitution we would not be having half of the arguments on all the laws required now. You should be able to read, write, earn or have earned a living wage and be able to afford all your kids in order to vote, carry or buy a gun or anything else that easily infringes on the rights of other around you. Stupid people vote....here we are, stupid people get permits here we go...

Oh I know that much. Russia, China, Germany and several more countries have killed their people. But that was back when times are bad and it's where one person was in charge. How long has it been since the UK and Australia had a total ban? They haven't killed their citizens...yet.

USSR AND AUSTRALIA May not have killed their citizens .....yet. Have you looked at Syria lately? How about South Africa? Countless others too.... Without arms the citizens are defenseless against the common thugs and (worst of all) their own govt.

maybe mine is. im different than a lot on this. but I believe a felony should be a crime of violence or similar nature. anything else should be a "do your time" deal. but when you have done your share and payed society back, you sould still have all means necessary to protect yourself. if we make anyone second rate citizens it should be illegals and not those who our system corrected. All im saying is if you murder someone, you should lose all rights, you go to jail, you die. if you lets say, had medication out of original pill bottle... or credit card fraud,tax fraud, embezzling, growing a tobacco plant, ect. NONVIOLENT crimes--- you should still have the right to defend yourself. shall not infringe is clear to me tho.

YEP! Really....You pay taxes you drive the road, you pay taxes your kids go to the school. You get an education you get to vote. You Try to actually be a productive member of society you get to do all the cool things all the other good boys and girls do. Your going to pay taxes so get something for it. They drive buses to the project to pick up voters. Why are people who are that low on the totem pole even going to vote. They are not voting on any real issues just the one that gets mo chedah! Govment Cheese please.....Pay you play... I drive down Buford hwy every single day and sit behind school buses at every single apartment complex sometimes 10-15 buses 10- 15 minutes. How many of those apartment complexes are paying enough in property taxes to send those 700-800 kids to school.
