.30-40 krag for me.
Its not really practical but i love the history behind it. It was actually considered small bore when it was first designed...way back in the 1890's

.30-40 fan here too -- and I don't even have a piece to shoot it from. I have a BIL who swears by his sporterized Krag for deer. Not as much as a 30-06 but more than a 30-30. Just the thing at 250 yards or less. He's let me shoot it at the range, but will not let it out of his sight, to let me take it into the woods. (It belonged to his favorite uncle.)

One day I'll have one of my own.

Hate agreeing with mods, but 357 Sig is an excellent round

Some "wildcatter" needs to come up with 10mm case necked down to .356/.357 to piggyback off your 357 sig. I wonder what the ballistics would be for that one???
