Use of deadly force question

I think the only way you could justify it is if he turned and came towards you with a weapon and the intent to harm you

This.

You're perfectly within your rights to walk outside your home and command them to stop. You're even within your rights to attempt to stop them from ruining your property (such as closing the car door when they try to open it), just don't be the first to lay a hand on them in order to be sure you avoid looking like the aggressor. If they then try to attack you, you have the right to use whatever force is necessary to stop the threat.

O.C.G.A. 16-3-21 & 16-3-24. Very important to know & understand these laws.

Gacarry.org is a great resource. Whenever someone, whether an officer or not gives you advice related to the use or carry of firearms ask them which code section they are quoting from.
That will help reduce all of the misinformation in circulation.

You are in your house and hear someone breaking into your car. You walk outside and observe them doing so. Are you allowed to use deadly force to protect the destruction of your property?
dont do it...and consider not leaving the presumed safety of your home checking on the vehicle if you have another vantage point or dont have to. Thats why you have insurance.
