I always have trouble getting rid of the old filters....

The big chain auto parts places used to take them back when scrap steel prices were high, but now none of them do.

Do you know of a place that does? I will try the local scrap metal dealer...maybe they do.

Whitfield county dump up here has a bin for them beside the recycled oil tank.
I asked the dude up there what he wanted me to do with a bunch of fluorescent bulbs. First he told me to just put them in the glass, I said they have mercury in them. Then he told me to just put them in the regular compactor, all that **** goes to the back anyway... So, there

I punch a hole or 2 in the bottom and let them drain a day or 2. Then I toss them in the trash. I let my oil containers drain overnight as well before they get tossed.
